We design our products with 3 core principles for every product; on-the-go functionality, durability & on-trend style. Reduce.

Minimize the Carbon Footprint.

We seek out ways to minimize our carbon footprint. We do this by finding the optimal materials, then innovating so as to reduce the usage and waste of materials, packaging & energy.

Recyclon

Recyclon is a transparent bio-based plastic. Using fossil fuels releases the carbon stored inside, causing global warming. Recyclon is made with 15% plant biomass materials, and is totally carbon neutral. Furthermore, Recyclon has a lower melting point. This reduces both processing temperature and cycle time, dramatically reducing energy use.

Solvent Free Powder Paint

We use only powder paints, which are totally solvent free. Powder paints are also highly durable, so bottles last for much longer.

Packaging

We actively minimize our packaging. No boxes, no tubes, no plastic tags. Further, we use recycled materials for over 99% of our packaging

Carbon Neutrality means that the carbon footprint of our company, our products, services & events has been calculated on the basis of internationally recognized standards and fully offset by supporting certified carbon offset projects.

Offsetting CO2 emissions is an important step in effective climate action, alongside avoidance and reduction. All Ion8 bottles offset carbon all the way from production to the end of its life, including eventual disposal of the bottle.
